The TASKING® VX-toolset for TriCore™ is available in several bundles - Standard, Professional, Premium and Enterprise Editions - allowing you to choose the best fit for your application development activities. This Getting Started manual and the User Guides describe the Enterprise Edition, containing all features available. In this manual, TASKING VX-toolset for TriCore and TriCore toolset are used as synonyms.
C/C++ compiler toolsets are supported for the following cores:
TriCore™/AURIX™.
Hardware Security Module (HSM). The toolset for HSM is based on the toolset for ARM Cortex-M. Therefore, in the product and the manuals use the term "ARM".
C compiler toolsets are supported for the following cores:
Generic Timer Module (GTM) / Multi Channel Sequencer (MCS). In the product and manuals we use the term "MCS".
Standby Controller (SCR). This controller is based on Infineon® XC800 microcontroller, which is an 8051 compatible 8-bit microcontroller. In the product and manuals we use the term "8051".
Peripheral Control Processor (PCP).
All toolsets are accessible from the Eclipse™ Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
The TASKING Pin Mapper for AURIX™ is fully integrated in the Eclipse™ Integrated Development Environment (IDE). You can use it to assign the internal controls of the MCU to the external pins.
