Products protected with a FLEXlm floating license require the service of a
license manager.
This license manager must be up and running whenever a FLEXlm protected product
is used.
Therefore, you must install this license manager software on a computer which is
permanently up and running.
If you have purchased a node-locked license, there is no need to install the
license manager.
