Henk-Piet Glas received his Beng in Information Technology from NHL college, Leeuwarden. His graduation project involved the migration of a sleepstage analysis program at Oxford Medical Systems, Abingdon.
He spent 10 years working for TASKING supporting toolsets for a wide range of microprocessor architectures. He then moved to SAS Institute, supporting their extended product portfolio of multi-tier BI/DI solutions and Visual Analytics.
In early 2015 he returned to TASKING to become the vocal point for FAEs and partners. His activities include dedicated FAE support, on-site FAE training, co-authoring of marketing content and newsletter articles, development of application notes, hosting webinars and sustaining company visibility by actively engaging customers.
He enjoys the creativity of independent coursework. His explorations include screenwriting, video editing and writing short stories and columns. For a while he aspired theatre making which, in 2001, led to a small UK-based tour with an unconventional British theatre company called Ridiculusmus.
